The plant code 1G is stamped at the beginning of the Tire Identification Number (TIN) on the tire sidewall immediately following the letters "DOT". It certifies that this tire was manufactured at the Hankook Tire China production facility in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China under NHTSA safety regulations.
